01Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using the Application you agree to the following terms. You are advised to read them carefully before use. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Application.
02What the Application Offers
Coffee Voyage is a personal coffee journal. The drink collection and creating your own entries are free to use. The premium features comprise the searchable journal, the map view with its café list, the taste profile and further statistics. The feature set may change through updates; the Service Provider intends to keep the described core available but does not owe the unchanged persistence of any individual feature.
03Subscription, Pricing and Cancellation
Premium is offered as a subscription through the App Store or Google Play. The applicable price and term are shown to you before purchase. The subscription renews automatically for the chosen term unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Cancellation is done solely in the subscription settings of your App Store or Google Play account, not inside the Application. Billing is handled by the respective store.
04Withdrawal and Refunds
Refunds are handled exclusively by the store you purchased through and follow its terms. The Service Provider can neither see nor issue payments. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
05Backups Are Your Responsibility
The Application stores all entries solely on your device. There is no cloud backup by the Service Provider and therefore no way to restore your data. If the device is lost, damaged or reset, if the Application is uninstalled, or if you switch devices without a complete backup, the data is irrevocably lost. Keeping regular device backups is your responsibility.
06Intellectual Property
Unauthorized copying or modification of the Application, any part of it, the illustrations or the trademarks is prohibited. Attempts to extract the source code, translate the Application or create derivative versions are not permitted. All trademarks, copyrights and other intellectual property rights in the Application remain with the Service Provider. The content you record remains yours.
07Your Content
You are responsible for the notes, photos and café details you record. As this content never leaves your device, it is not reviewed by the Service Provider. Please take care not to infringe the rights of others, for instance when photographing inside private premises.
08Third-Party Services
The Application uses services with their own terms: RevenueCat for purchases (revenuecat.com/terms), Expo (expo.dev/terms), Apple Maps or Google Maps together with Google Play Services (policies.google.com/terms) for maps and purchase handling.
09Internet Connectivity
The Application works fully offline. An active internet connection is needed only for individual features: the map display, filling in city and country from your location, and buying or restoring premium. The Service Provider cannot be held responsible if these features are unavailable for lack of a connection.
10Network Charges
If you use the Application outside a Wi-Fi area, the terms of your mobile provider continue to apply. Charges for data usage may arise, including roaming charges when used outside your home network. These costs are yours to bear.
11Device Responsibility
It is your responsibility to maintain the security of your device and access to the Application. Jailbreaking or rooting your device is strongly discouraged, as it removes protections imposed by the operating system and may stop the Application from functioning correctly. Likewise, the Service Provider cannot ensure that your device stays charged and operational.
12Liability
The Service Provider is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence as well as for injury to life, body or health. For ordinary negligence it is liable only for the breach of a material contractual obligation and limited to the foreseeable damage typical of the contract. Liability is otherwise excluded. Information on drinks, origins and caffeine content is provided for orientation and enjoyment; the caffeine figures are rough estimates based on a typical preparation and do not constitute medical or nutritional advice.
13Updates and Termination
The Service Provider may update the Application. System requirements may change; to continue using the Application you must install the updates offered. The Service Provider does not guarantee that the Application will remain compatible with every operating system version. It may discontinue the Application; in that case subscription fees already paid are refunded pro rata through the respective store.
14Changes to These Terms
The Service Provider may update these terms. Changes are announced by publishing the new version on this page. You are advised to review this page regularly.
